Forum member Sam posed a provocative question about the reality of suing terrorists

Would the northern Irish that want to take the Libyans to court for supplying the IRA not think it would be easier and more profitable to sue Sinn Fein, the Dublin government and the American government?

I include the American government as they did nothing about Noraid, indeed some senators and congressmen even supported it.
