Seven Ages Of Britain

David Dimbleby journeys through the nation’s past, from Iron Age pre-history to the present day. This is a history of British society told not through documents and written records, but through the material culture of each age – works of art, craft, and industry.

Seven Ages Of Britain

This week, Sunday 21st February, Seven Ages Of Britain is taking a break to allow BBC One to cover the BAFTA Film Awards. It returns on February 28th.

If you're following the series on Monday evenings on BBC Two, however, the episode that was dropped on Monday 15th to make way for extended Olympics coverage is being shown this Monday, the 22nd.

The book, Seven Ages Of Britain, is published by Hodder & Stoughton. who have produced a podcast in association with the book.
