An
Element on the Move
|
|||
| Welcome to An Element on the Move on-line, which was developed for the Open University's Science Foundation Course, Discovering Science (S103). | |||
| This interactive game puts you in charge of one of the basic building blocks of life: an atom of carbon. | |||
| You'll embark on a journey that covers millions of years and takes you into every corner of the natural world, from the depths of the ocean to the heart of a volcano. | |||
| To play this game your browser must be version 4 or above, and you'll need the Shockwave plug-in, version 7 or higher. | |||
| If you don't have Shockwave installed on your machine, or you have an earlier version than 7, you'll need to download it from the Macromedia website (click on the icon below to take you there). The download will take about 12 minutes. | |||
| A screen display of 800 x 600 pixels is also recommended to run this game. It's also advisable not to open too many windows from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen at any one time. | |||
| Go to An Element on the Move (the next screen opens in a new window and the file size is 271kb) | |||
