Lime factoryMessages - Programme 5

"I love the programme and the website tests my own knowledge! Great."
Andrew Wood

"This is quite simply the best programme on television and a wonderful example of how to transmit the ideas of science together with its passion. An altogether marvellous programme. Well done."
Dr Ric Colasanti

"Rough Science is a very good programme because its all about the kind of things I like and I am very annoyed when I miss one. Do as many programmes as you can."
Stephen Otter

"I love Rough Science - I can't get enough. I watch it then come on the website!!!"
Sarah Lowe

"I just finished watching the show and I really like it. It's a shame it wasn't better advertised as there are only 2 shows left. I hope you get to do another series. One suggestion is: it is often just as interesting to know why an experiment didn't work as why it did. For example, I'd love to know why Mike's phosphorus didn't work and what he would have needed to do differently."
Matthew Craig

"I watch every programme shown. Thoroughly enjoyable and witty and inspirational. I wish there are so much more programmes like this instead of the latest teen idols. A wonderful cast of scientists, funny and inventive. Well done. Just cannot wait for what horrible challenge has been set for next week!
Thanks open2! Brilliant."
Steve

"I have a question about the use of limes as a sunscreen. As a child growing up with a very fair skin and prone to sunburn (and sun allergy), I was always told that citrus fruits, especially limes, exacerbated sunburn. I was therefore particularly surprised to see one of your scientists using it as a sunscreen on the last episode. Can you explain how this works?"
