One of many parks in the city, what marks Parc Des Buttes out as unique is its location, perched on the top of a rocky hill. A favourite with Parisians, at weekends the park is bustling with people taking strolls and enjoying picnics.

Baron Haussmann, a landscape architect and one of the greatest of all town planners, designed the park in the 19^th century. It has an artificial lake with its own island, featuring waterfalls plunging from a large, rocky cliff.

From its high vantage point there are views of the Sacré Coeur.
