If you want to become involved in activities relating to native reptiles and amphibians, such as surveys or practical conservation projects or simply reporting your observations, then there's a range of organisations and websites that may be of interest. A good starting point is your local amphibian and reptile group, part of the ARG UK network.

It contains information on every amphibian species in the world and is continuously adding new species as they are described. Amphibian and Reptile Groups of the UK (ARG UK)
A network of locally based volunteer groups concerned with survey and conservation of native amphibians and reptiles. Groups vary in the activities undertaken; most organise meetings, field visits and training, but some also carry out practical habitat management tasks, such as restoring amphibian ponds. New members welcome.

A web-based recording scheme for non-native reptiles and amphibians. The website also provides information on non-native species’ identification (including frog calls), ecology and the threats posed to native species.
