Hi, my name’s Matt Costa. I'm the Dubbing Mixer on Fossil Detectives.

My first memory of a fossil was a very beautiful ammonite that my dad owned that I was very excited about. So much so that I took it around to my friend’s house and managed to drop it on the way around and smash it into about ten pieces. Then it had to be repaired with superglue.

Subsequent to that, my dad used to take me hunting for fossils in the Cotswolds, probably to replace his ammonite that I’d broken.
