In 2009, The Open University and the BBC will be joining forces to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of the publication On The Origin Of Species. There will be a series of television programmes exploring the man, his theories and his effect on the way we think about the world. Online, look out for a range of materials to explore and discover, expanding across the bicentennial year.
