Keith

Keith, from Essex, took early retirement nine years ago.

Since then he has kept his mind active by taking up Open University courses.

Listen to Keith's testimonial (190K Quicktime player required)

"Up until about nine years ago I was a serving police officer, but I got injured and had to take early retirement. I felt as if I wasn't able to do anything, I thought my mind was going to vegetate, so I started doing Open University courses. I'm now on my third year.

This course has been very informative, it's also been very fast, it's been very active; very much hands on. Instead of just sitting there and being told facts, theories, related facts, you're told how to do something, you do it and do it yourself - so you're learning by doing.

You know, it does open your eyes, and what's going on in the world, and what's going on behind the public's image, what's really actually happening."
