"I've really enjoyed it, it's quite a hands on course, it's not just sitting down studying books, which suits me because I take in a lot more through that sort of learning than I do from just through looking in books.

Managing to get a week off work, that was the hardest part! I've got a very understanding wife, she's gone out of her way to make sure I could come, actually - I'm really pleased about that!

The best thing about the course is the variety of it. It lets you into computers, into the university library. The actual feel about being at a university is good because I've never been to one, so it's quite an experience in itself.

It's quite a packed programme. You've got to come with the attitude that you're going to work, because there's a lot of work to be done. You don't get much leisure time, it's sort of nine 'til nine at night, so it's quite intensive."
