From managing large and physically disparate teams of people,
monks setting up shop on the Internet and consultants trying
to keep their clients ahead of the game, the television programmes
Cyberboss, Modem
Monks, and Trend Trackers
offer examples of what is being dubbed the 'Information Society'.
Here we try to go further and highlight some of the underlying
issues related to these programmes.
However, the development of the 'information society' has
wider scope than these three examples. We look at how our
homes and even our identities seem to have adapted to the
Information Society.
