Artist Duggie Fields has recently added a computer to the tools of his trade. Duggie has been an artist for over 30 years building up a reputation as one of the world's leading post-pop artists. He has exhibited world-wide, and his London flat acts as a mini gallery of his work.
His desire to reach a wider audience made him turn to computers and the Internet to create an online virtual gallery. Duggie started by scanning some photographs of his work, creating digital images on his computer. He soon discovered that he could quickly change the colours of his scanned artwork. Before too long, he began to do all of the studies for his paintings on the computer. This soon led to purely digital works, intended to exist only on screen.
